FORKED ("we," "us," "our") operates the website theforked.ai and related services. FORKED is an interactive decision-making platform that helps users explore business decisions through stories, articles, and AI-powered analysis.

When you create an account via Google OAuth or email, we collect:

  • Profile picture (if provided by Google)

We automatically collect:

  • Story choices and decision patterns (anonymized)

  • Referral source

Purchase Information

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your credit card details. Lemon Squeezy provides us with your email, purchase history, and subscription status.

Newsletter Subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Emails are sent via Resend.

5. AI-Generated Content

FORKED uses AI models (including OpenAI GPT) to generate content such as:

  • In-story AI advisor responses
  • Blog article analysis
  • Decision profile insights (Pro feature)

Your story choices may be sent to AI providers to generate personalized responses. We do not share your personal identity with AI providers — only anonymized choice data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@theforked.ai.

Anonymized, aggregate data (e.g., poll results, decision statistics) may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
